Do ambulances bring you to the hospital if you're experiencing your first panic attack?

If you were never diagnosed(or whatever the word is lol) with anxiety disorders and you had your first panic attack and you didn't know what was happening so you called 911, would they take you to the hospital? I've heard tons of stories saying how doctors don't take panic attacks seriously and stuff like that, but would the paramedics bring you to the hospital anyways?? Medically, there is really nothing you can do to stop a panic attack besides like pills and stuff right? Would you have to go to a doctor immediately either way to know that you probably have anxiety disorders?? Or would the paramedics just like calm you down and then leave??
