i think he is torn between you and her. think of it this way there are benefits of just being his friend. chances are things wont last forever with this other girl and guess who will be there for him to comfort him and be there to let him vent and talk to? YOU!! then he will probably fall for you because he realizes that you were the one that was there for him when he needed to talk to someone and his life would be different without you. so stick in there for now, because chances are the reward may be greater later on :) let us know what happens!!
