How to make my Room Unique, Quirky, and Like me?

I Got my bedroom painted when i was about 8, I got it turqoise, because that was the colour that all my friends got. I have my own sense of style, I LOOOVE colourful things. At the moment i have crimson Curtains, A mexican throw over a squashy chair and a moon and stars bedthrow, I have 2 collages on my small walls, But it's still not like me, I need it to be like a Hippie bedroom, Like something no-one has ever seen before. My Dad won't let me paint it either, So i am stuck
