Would you be mad if this happened to you?

Me and my best friend Bailey use to run track. My dad said he couldn't do the times anymore because of his jobs and so I had to quit.. .... I have been riding horses my entire life. I show mine, and I love her to death! I consider myself a pretty good rider and I just looove horses soo much. but anyways, lol, my friend Bailey wanted to ride horses too so she is going to start taking lessons at a stable, she asked if I would take them with her, and I said sure, since I love horses and I can walk to the stable, So it doesn't interfere with my dad's work. So i was really excited! I was at Bailey's one day, and I heard her and her mom talking and her mom said "she quits everything. Miranda will end up quitting on you again and then you'll quit and we already paid for a years worth of lessons." It upset me alittle bit. I'm not sure if I'm overreacting or what. But I thought her mom liked me. I just feel like she doesn't anymore. I'm not mad at Bailey, because Bailey did defend me, but her mom still has been alittle rude to me lately.?
